Paul Golf (Ministry Coordinator) 2011
Merry Christmas to all of our prayer partners and friends! It has been an incredible year of fruitfulness and building new relationships for Love China. We have passed through a number of milestones this year and have much to thank God for. In this newsletter we have two testimonies from the Life Impact conference in Germany, and a special report from our Director Kim Kee Lee and Sok Han on their recent trip to Israel, but first we would like to share with you some of the amazing answers to prayer that have happened over this last year. The Bible says in James 5:16 that the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective. Your prayers have a direct effect on what takes place in our ministry. One of the reasons God raises up a ministry such as Love China is to act as a conduit for the prayers of the saints to bless the nations.
In May of this year we were delighted to welcome Brother Gao and his wife from Xi’an in China. This was the first time in history that a Chinese House Church leader has ministered openly to the Western Church in Europe, and it was a privilege to have this representative of China’s millions of believers bring a timely prophetic word to the UK Church as well as repenting on behalf of China for the death of Western missionaries over 100 years ago. This ministry tour was of enormous significance in the Kingdom and we believe much fruit will unfold in the years to come!
Our Life Impact Conference in Germany was also a time of tremendous blessing. Pastor Ross Patterson and his wife Christine came from Taiwan to minister to over 150 believers from across Europe. We were also joined by a team from Carmel Centre church in Bristol, UK, who were in charge of the ministry to children and young people. Many lives were transformed through an encounter with Jesus over the week in August!
In the second half of the year we have developed a new website and by God’s grace have managed to make connections with many different ministries and Churches in several nations. We have also had a breakthrough in our ministry in Israel which Kim Kee will share about in this newsletter. All in all we want to say a huge thank you to all of you who have prayed or supported the ministry financially or in other ways. It is a joy and a pleasure to be partners with you in this Great Commission that Jesus gave the Church.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever! His promise is that ‘those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed’. We hope you enjoy reading this newsletter and giving thanks with us for what God has done. Our prayer for you this Christmas is that Christ’s presence would fill your life and your home in greater measure, and that you would experience His grace in every area of life! As we look ahead into the new year, perhaps you would join with us in a prayer:
Father, in Jesus’ name, thank you so much for all you have accomplished in our lives and in the ministry this year. We desire to know you more and for your presence to be more revealed in us. May you feel at home in all of our celebrations this Christmas, and lead us into the fullness of your plans for our lives as we seek to cooperate with you more in the New Year. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives just as it is in heaven. Amen!
